1st HALF

 

Early pressure from Highridge, James makes a couple of good defensive clearances, Ollie makes a good save.  Highridge pressure tells and they make the breakthrough from a corner. 0-1.

 

Highridge continue to keep the pressure on Frys, forcing another corner.  Frys weather the storm and start to get more into the game with Charlie and Harry battling well.  Lewis comes close after some good work on the right by Ben.  Charlie also goes close, forcing a corner. 

 

Highridge defending well and with their centre forward playing high up the pitch (goal hanging) they create a number of chances from long balls.   Some good saves from Ollie and good defending by Nathanuel and James keeps them out.

 

Highridge get a second on the verge of half time following a cross in from their right.

 

Half Time 0-2

 

 

2nd HALF

 

Second half begins as the first ended with Frys under pressure.  Frys concede two goals in quick succession, the first following a ball down the middle 0-3, the second a shot from the edge of the box 0-4.

 

Frys heads start to go down but Charlie continues to battle well.  Highridge hit a fifth following a ball in from their left which is tapped past Ollie, 0-5. 

 

Frys under more pressure but Lewis breaks forward and puts Charlie through.  Charlie is brought down.  From the free kick Lewis drops the ball into the box, slotted home by Harry 1- 5.

 

End to end stuff now with Charlie and Lewis both being denied by the keeper.  Charlie is fouled on the edge of the box, Lewis’s free kick is saved by the keeper.  At the other end Ollie forced into making a couple of saves and Highridge hit the bar.  

 

Highridge score again direct from a free kick 1 – 6.  Frys all over the place following the goal, Highridge run through and quickly add another 1 – 7.

1^st HALF

 

Highridge kick off, Ollie makes an early break and shoots just wide.  Highridge put us under pressure and Sam makes 4 good saves. Highridge keep up the pressure and score

0-1. Just minutes later Highridge score again 0-2.  Some good defending by Ollie, Morgan and Jacob, but Fry’s struggling to get out of their own half.  Sam finishes a great 1^st half with 2 more great saves.

2^nd HALF

 

Fry’s kick off but Sam is forced to make a save a few seconds in.  Ollie makes a good run and works hard to keep the ball in, he makes a good cross but no-one there to pick it up.  Highridge break and despite some good defending by Jamie score again 0-3.  Seconds later Highridge score again 0-4.  Ollie breaks and crosses just wide.  A good tackle by Lewis and Jacob does well in defence.  Fry’s win a free kick, Ollie takes but it’s just over.  A good break and attempt on goal by Lewis. 

Charlie on for Lewis. 
Fry’s break, Charlie puts in the cross and Morgan scores 1-4.  Highridge respond and Sam makes another great save.  Charlie makes a break and has a good shot at goal.  Last few minutes and Highridge score again 1-5.
